Christopher brings a decade of experience working in various nonprofit organizations with a focus on developing multicultural and community-based programming. He is particularly proud of co-founding the Conectándonos MÁS youth program with Movimiento Afrolatino Seattle, and their work developing and promoting the Union Cultural Center’s Illuminate series. Christopher was raised in the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma, WA and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Post-Colonial Literature from Evergreen State College, as well as a Master of Science in Global Health from the National University of Natural Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, studying dance, and performing with Jose Carrion’s Todo Folklore Cubano company.
