Next to the Post Office, a grocery store, pharmacy, a major bus line and a future city park, the Spokane is the newest building in SEED’s Rainier Court development. 

Lake Washington Apartments

  • Affordable homes for families, below 50% and 60% of area median income 
  • Acquired and rehabilitated in 1998; renovated in 2015 

Renovations at this large complex near the shores of Lake Washington included replacing roofs; upgrading lighting, heating, and electrical systems; installing energy-efficient washers and dryers; upgrading kitchens and bathrooms; and adding multiple new community spaces. 

Courtland Place 
3621 33rd Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144 

  • 208 apartments and seven commercial suites 
  • Affordable homes for seniors, below 30% and 60% of median income 
  • New construction completed in 2005 

Courtland Place was SEED’s first building at Rainier Court, a mixed-use development that reclaimed and environmentally remediated seven acres of land in Southeast Seattle. The largest building at this site, it provides much-needed affordable homes for seniors and space for local businesses.
