SEED’s New Strategic Plan

When SEED embarked on a new strategic planning process, we had a few goals in mind. After going through a few years of rapid change, including disruptions caused by the COVID pandemic, we wanted a plan that would be adaptable and responsive to the dynamic times we are in. We wanted a plan informed by community and grounded in racial justice. Equally essential was a plan that would align with our values and mission.

We think the new plan meets those goals and will be adaptable as new challenges arise.

The plan is the result of nine months of work, involving board, staff, consultants, and community members. The plan reinforces SEED’s commitment to addressing the affordable housing crisis, aligns our economic development and arts work, and invests in our staff and residents. The plan will keep SEED accountable to community and will guide us for the next five years and beyond.
